Ileana Marin, Program Officer

Ileana currently serves as Program Officer for the international programs of the Charles F. Kettering Foundation. Her main responsibilities are in the International Fellowship Program as well as major international workshops and conferences, along with other lines of research. She attended one of the foundation's international workshops in July 1994, and has been officially affiliated in a capacity or another with the foundation since January 1997 (see also http://www.icscpd.org).
Between March 2003 and December 2005 she also worked as Program Officer and Director for Romania-based programs developed by the U.S. World Learning for International Development (http://www.worldlearning.org).
Her main areas of activity and interest are in international affairs and relations, non-profit sector, and ethnic and minority issues.
Ileana holds a Master’s Degree in Romanian and Hungarian Linguistics and Cultures, and another one in Ethnic and Minority Studies, and is currently enrolled in a PhD in the Human and Organizational Studies program with the Fielding Graduate University.
