Amelia Law is an administrative assistant at the foundation. She coordinates all aspects of the doctoral and graduate research positions, including publications, workshops, interviews, and meetings. She prepares and processes associate contracts, budget/expense reports, and information packets; coordinates between outside contractors and network associates; and assists two program officers with projects pertaining to public-public education, civil economics, community politics, and youth development research.
Law was a member of the American Business Women’s Association for 10 years and chaired numerous committees as well as served on the board. Previously she worked in Dayton at WKEF-TV Channel 22 and at the Dayton Daily News and as a manager of a secretarial business in Guam.
Law has an associate’s degree in graphic arts and a desktop publishing certificate from Sinclair Community College, a BA in organizational management, magna cum laude, from Wilberforce University, and an MS in administration with human resource electives from Central Michigan University. She has also studied motion picture production at Wright State University.
