Kristin Cruset is a writer/researcher at the Kettering Foundation. Her main focus is working with other staff members to coordinate the collection and presentation of research for a project examining the impact of government policies on communities and citizens from the 1970s through the present. She conducts literature reviews on the topics of health, education, and welfare.
Prior to her current position at the foundation, she taught social studies at Waynesville High School in Waynesville, Ohio. Cruset also worked previously as a Kettering research assistant in the mid- to late 1990s. She edited foundation articles, speeches, and publications and worked on Is There a Public for Public Schools?
Cruset holds a BA in political science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MA in political science from the University of Iowa.
