Stephen Gidraph, International Resident Researcher

Stephen Gidraph is an international resident researcher at the Kettering Foundation from Kenya. His areas of interest include youth matters, student leadership, good governance, public policy, agriculture development, and entrepreneurship. He is undertaking research on citizen participation for a transparent and accountable public procurement process. He seeks to develop a working guide for citizens, civil society, and public officials to curb waste and corruption of public funds.
 
Currently, Gidraph is a youth affairs coordinator at the Constituencies Development Fund and previously served there as a partnership advisor, identifying and managing development partners and opportunities. He is the founder of Agrivarsity Africa, an agricultural initiative that works nationally with small-scale farmers through innovative solutions that enhance access to training, financial, and market support services. He also serves as a board director at Stafford Boys High School, a premier education center in Kenya.
 
Gidgraph is a graduate of Africa Nazarene University, earning a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in research and public policy. He is an alumni of the Study of the US Institute (SUSI) on Civic Engagement, a program of the US Department of State held at Miami University.
