Democracy depends on free, fair, and representative elections. That’s why the Charles F. Kettering Foundation is proud to have joined many of our pro-democracy peers in philanthropy by signing the All By April pledge. All By April is a nonpartisan campaign led by a group of funders and donors who are asking their counterparts to act earlier than usual in 2024 to support the essential nonpartisan, nonprofit organizations that help our democracy function.

At Kettering, we believe the future of our democracy depends on the promotion of an inclusive democratic environment where all citizens are informed, engaged, and empowered to choose their leaders and to confront the mounting threats to our democratic institutions and values.
