Mindy LaBreck is vice president for people and culture at the Kettering Foundation.
As director of human resources, LaBreck is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the foundation relating to facilities, technology, and all aspects of the foundation’s meeting and travel logistics.
Her research focus is on K-12 civic education, which explores how K-12 students learn to become democratic citizens. In pursuit of this exploration, the foundation engages with K-12 teachers and administrators to discover how using deliberative practices in the classroom and in schools generally affects how students come to see themselves as citizens in a democracy.
LaBreck holds a BA and an MA from Antioch University and SHRM-SCP Certification. She also serves as the president of the board for the Tipp City Enrichment Program (TCEP).
